Issue: Unable to paste multiple rows in Account field (General Journal)

We cannot paste multiple rows into the Account field in General Journal.
Only the first row is pasted.

Budget control is disabled (Budget check not performed).

The issue appears to be related to financial dimension (Account) field validation.
This worked previously and stopped recently.

This behaviour is out of design. If you want to use paly around multiple lines at once, you can use excel addins. Its very user friendly, all you need to do is, open this form in Excel, if you are doing first time, you need to install and login D365FO excel add in (dont worry it will install automtaically , you dont need to find the ad in)

Hi,

You can use the "Open in Excel" feature as suggested by Deepak. In Excel, paste the required data using "Special Paste" and once all fields are correctly filled, simply click on the "Publish button". The data will then be uploaded into D365.

This feature was available in 2025, and I used to use it.
