New Install GP 2016 Utilities Login Failure - ODBC works

Hello all,

I have just downloaded GP 2016, and am attempting to connect for the very first time. GP install created an ODBC connection, and it works. However when I attempt to login using the same credentials I get a failure error.

Login Failed.

I believe I narrowed down the problem to the user not being able to write to the Master DB, and GP trying to install its required stored proc's.
