Reports are not opening in Model driven power apps

ReportReport
Posted on by 134

I want to see reports in my model driven power apps but when I try to open the reports I am getting the following error-

This is a system entity that does not have a main form. Opening a record form for this entity is not supported.

How will I bring reports in PowerApps?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Can you share some screen shots or steps which you are following. It will help to clear this issue more.

I have added Reports and when I try to access them in powerapps nothing happens. Doesn't work on mobile as well.

I have even tried to add teams or people but still it is not visible.

I have checked for access as well but all access are provided to the security role

    Hello,

That is correct because Report entity does not have main form, As you can see in below image we can see other components (Not form) associated with the Report.

So when you will try to click on the Form then it will show the error and when you will click on the Views then it will be visible in power apps.

Yes it will not open because it does not have the main form. So from "power app edit" it will not open. but when you will open from the Model driven app then it will open.

if you want to run the report then just select the report and click on the run report and it will work in Mode driven app.

    Thank you,
