Credit Card EDC Batch does not settle

(0) ShareShare

This started after upgrade to the most current version of RMS. 2.0.0155. (service pack 4). This is happening once a week since the upgrade. We call the processor MPS and they walk us through a series of SQL queries to run. Then it settles.

What causes this and how can fix RMS so that it does not happen again?

    Nerdy,

    Go the Admin program.

    File -> Configuration

    Click on the EDC tab.

Click on the "Advanced Options..." button

Then click on the "Advanced" button.

The top item, Batch Size is what you want to alter.

    Hi Jon,

Can you please point me on where I can change the number of transactions per batch?

    Thanks!

    Jon, thanks for that!

We haven't been having a problem lately, but I reset all of our registers to 1000 transactions. Hopefully, that will do it for us as well.

We found that all our registers were not set to the same number of transactions per batch. Some were at 1000 and a couple were at 100. After changing the Max transaction count to 1000 for all registers, we have had no problem.

We've recently been having an intermittent problem where RMS says:

    "There was a connection error.

    No transactions were settled

    Please try again later,"

but when I call our processor (not Mercury Pay) they say that it was settled just fine. If we settle the batch a second time, RMS warns that the transactions will be marked settled and the secure information will be deleted. We do that anyway since it appears to be a bug. Every time we call the processor, the batch went through just fine.

Jon, I am having the same issue at another customer with Mercury Pay.  Did you get a resolution to this issue?

This sounds like a similar problem I have. In their SQL query, are they incrementing the ResponseBatchNumber and Requestbatchnumber?
