Export to excel dialog box appears

Dear Nav Peers,

When using export to excel eg .Customer list page by using the shortcut - > Ctrl+e i' m getting a dialog box asking the location where to save rather than opening the excel automatically . can you pls help to resolve whether its anything related to settings ?

Try to delete you personalization , close Dynamics NAV, open Dynamics NAV and then check.

I have the same problem with one of my users.

In the Open/save dialog box, she unchecked "ask every time", and selected "Save" (so now - of course - it saves every time).

If I could get the Dialog box to re-appear, it would be great, or any way to change the selection to "Open".

Regarding your last response: ctrl+e on a different list opens Excel directly or you have the same behaviour on every list?

Thanks for your reply . its installed,normally when we give ctrl+e the excel opens without any dialog box.

CTRL+E on a list should ask you if you want to open or save the excel file.

Is Excel correctly installed on the machine where you run the RTC client?
