When submitted for release a transaction it prompts at Process Status this message "Process status recorded in file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\SL\Applications\EVENTLOG\filename.LOG". But when I go to this folder to view the message, there's no file at all in there. What's wrong? Please help.

Is it possible that your windows credentials do not have proper permission to write to the eventlog folder? Try going out and manually creating a text file in the appropriate path. Are you able to do so?
