How to connect to Dynamics AX using BC.Net on a remote PC?

I need to connect to a Dynamics server from another PC. I dont have Microsoft Dynamics AX on my PC. How can i connect to this AX from my PC use Axapta.LogonAs()?
I tried to use Axapta.LogonAs(user, domain, nc, company, language, objectServer, configuration), where objectServer looks like 01@nameOfServerPC:port and configuration is path to configuration file on this server. I have an error "Failed to initialize Business connector".

Is it possible connect to Dynamics AX server using BC.Net on a remote computer?

    Yes, it is but you have to install the Microsoft Dynamics AX Business Connector first using the official setup files on the server.

    Does the business connector proxy in System administration -> Setup -> System -> System service accounts has the proper value？

    Make sure that the windows account you are running this code from has a valid AX logon, and has the proper rights in AX to connect via BC.
