I have two companies setup in the same database. When I go into the second company I see all the vendors and customers of the first company and it looks like they are sharing the customers and vendors. Is there anyway to prevent the users of the second company not to see the customers and the vendors of the first company. I have multi-company activated. is there an option I have to turn off?

If you have 2 companies sharing the same application database then you can see all customers and vendors from both companies because both companies share the same tables, for customers and vendor.
In the current version 2018 CU4, there are AP approvals for vouchers only. Explination for the approval process is found on the voucher and adjustment help file. and also in the Foundation, Shared information module , Approval Maintenance.
There are no approval functions for AP until 2018 CU3, so prior versions would not have it.

Hello Skhosro,
There is no option to turn off the sharing of vendor and customer lists between companies in a single application database. It would be best to set the companies up in separate application databases if this is a serious concern.
