Business Management ERROR :The user ID associated with the current record is not valid

The issue occurs when I try to change the user ID    Domain\user1   to Domain\User2   Both users exist in AD, I can change the from Domain\User1 to Domain\User3 but as soon as I change the username Domain\User2   ERRROR occurs...Please help.
