Dear,

I try to enable one of my colleague mailbox.

The O365 admin approver the mailbox, I (as Dynamics admin) test & anable the mailbox and I received this message : "This mailbox is disabled for outgoing email processing. For more information, see the alerts."

I don't have any alerts. The incoming emails have a success status. Outgoing failed.

Thanks for your advice.

    No one? We have been dealing with this issue for specific mailboxes for months now. Very annoying.

    Yvan, why don't you put in a ticket with MS?  They are slow; but if it's this big a bug they will (at least try to) fix it within a few months, in my experience.  And if it's a troubleshooting thing it's usually taken care of w/in about a month.

    Hello Nora,  
    I ran into this message with a queue user mailbox.  The issue is that the mailbox has been set (or defaulted to) inactive status.  Click "Activate" in the upper left hand corner next to the save buttons (which are grayed out for an inactive user).  Once the mailbox is activate, have an office 365 Global Admin approve the email, then click "Test & Enable Mailbox" again.

    Try resetting the parameters of the Synchronization Method, including:

    • Server Profile
    • Incoming Email
    • Outgoing Email

    Then, save your changes and re-approve the email settings. Sometimes, issues can be caused by a glitch.
