Dear All,

Using AL and visual studio , I have successfully  added a customized field in the page and table (dimension value) in business central. But, I couldn't to recall this field in the related web service and reports through power BI. In fact, when I want to create the customized API I could not find this field in the table. It is kindly noted that I just added the field to sandbox environment.

I would appreciate if someone help me in this regrad.
Best regrard.

    Hi,

If you added field in Sandbox environment, then it will only be available in Sandbox environment Webservices / API or on the page.

    Hi
What our colleague indicated is correct.
Please verify that you have the extension deployed in the production environment. Additionally, I give you some links that I hope will help you.

    Thanks for your helps.

I know that my added field is only available in environment I work on it. I added this field in one of my sandbox environment but when I want to develop custom API in this environment I could not find my added field.
As you can see in the below picture I am using AZ AL dev tool to create API page but there is not exist my field.

    Hello,

Did you have a separate project folder for the API Page?

Assuming you added to the correct table and used the same table source for the API Page, it should appear on the AZ AL page wizard.

Hi, hope the following can give you some hints.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Can we extend standard APIs? – Download Standard Source Code for APIs

    Thanks.
