Hello there,
We have had something really strange happen and I cannot reproduce it...
We complete manufacturing orders, receiving the FG to inventory.
Our manufacturing process is to allocate on release and backflush all items
Then once a week or so we close the completed orders.
We have had a completed MO reverse allocate upon close and put all components back into inventory??
Thus creating a large variance
just wondering if anyone has seen something like this...and if this is a bug??
posting interruption??
how would it reverse allocate the entire pick list.
In the MO Activity dbo was the user attributed to the reverse allocate.
we have thousands of components in our FGs and this kind of random reversal is a great concern to us and the integrity of inventory data
any help or suggestions where to look is greatly appreciated..
Tami

Hi there Becky!!
Yes I will open up a support incident
Looking at table MOP1210 I see all allocations reversing the original Pick Docs
Thanks for the suggestion
Take care
Tami
I have never seen it unallocated incorrectly. If items are allocated they will not cause a variance when you close the MO, only issued or backflushed items can cause a variance. When you mention that you have large variances this tell me there is something else going on that will impact the issued and consumed quantities. I think you are going to need to open a support incident so that a technician can take a look at the MFG tables.
