Hi All,

I got a new requirement to add new custom dimension filter in lookup same as legal entity in below screen shot.

I am able to create a dimension value lookup with a new form string control but not able to add the query range to Query.

Can anyone help on this?

Regards,

Swetha.

I'm sorry, but I can't help you to find the bug, because I know nothing about your code. Consider sharing your code and explaining how you added the data source (e.g. whether it's joined to another data source).

    Hi Martin,

I am using ProjProjectsListPage  list page form. For this list page query added new data source and added new field in the grid.

Now i want to filter new field based on the lookup values selected. I am trying to use OnQueryExecuting event handler to add the range. But facing error "Form datasource <datasource> is not found in ProjProjectsListPage".

So i am struck here where to add the code to add ranges to the new filed.

Please tell us more about your code. Which form is it about, which event are you using, which data source are you trying to get and how?

    Hi Martin,

    Thank you for quick response.

Based on the multiple selection of dimensions through new control, list page grid needs to filtered based on the dimensions.

I am not able to find a exact method to add the range because when i tired to create a event handler for new datasource OnQueryExecuting method facing error ""Form datasource <datasource> is not found in ProjProjectsListPage".

Please help me to find the exact method to add the ranges.

All right, I moved your question to Dynamics 365 Finance Forum.

Unfortunately it's not clear to me either what you're trying to achieve or what problem you have with it.

You may want to start by explaining why you're "not able to add the query range to Query".

You're asking in the General forum, therefore it's not clear which application you mean unless you mention it.\

Isn't it about Finance and Operations?
