Smartlist and multicurrency and reporting currency

I have a smarlist report of GL for different companies in USD,GBP and HKD currencies. How can I show all the amounts in USD in the smartlist report? I read that a calculated field can be added and the rate can be read from multicurrency table. How can we get the rate from the currency table in a calculated field based on currency ID

Yes, I am using smartlist builder to create the report.
