Navigation arrows within a case greying out once the case is resolved

We have found recently that the navigation arrows (top right hand corner) become unusable (greyed out) once the case is Resolved. Whilst the case is active navigated to  and from cases is available.

Has anyone come across this before and if so how was it fixed?

I am not able to replicate this in our CRM environment, just make sure there is no code which is doing this.

Or may be someone else can respond if they faced this issue

    Thanks

The navigation arrows are on the top right hand corner, in an orange square.
