Hi Experts,

I am using Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations version 10.0.6 and I am unable to end a production order and getting the error below.

Active job registrations or journal registrations exist on production in Manufacturing Execution

When I did troubleshoot, I found that I need to approve and transfer the worker registration in Time and Attendance module, so I navigated to Time and Attendance/Approve. So now, once I click or Approve, system is not letting me approve or transfer and I get the following error.

Pay agreement is not valid on this date

I did further investigation and I did setup payment agreement and pay types and associated payment profile with worker too.

Is there a way, I can get through this error and end my production order.

Thanks in advance.

try transfering the time and attendance transactions by going to human resources > common > time and attendance > Approve

Yes, the bloody pay agreements most of us never use... You are absolutely on the right track, and to bypass the pay agreements warning I use the following setup:

To circumvent a “missing pay type” warning at the Transfer step in the time approval process , a dummy pay DEF type should be created at Time and attendance > Setup > Payroll > Pay types.

Next, create a default Pay agreement DEF in the Time and attendance > Setup > Payroll > Pay agreements list.

In the Agreement lines, associate the Pay type DEF with the Pay agreement DEF on every day of the week from Monday through Friday.

The Profile type = Time is chosen, as this is the only time associated with production orders, see Time and attendance > Setup > Time profiles > Profile types.

Thank you Eugene. I did exactly what you recommended. It is surprising to note that the error occurs sometime and sometime not. I think, I need to get some one technical to look at the records from AOT.
