Hi All,

Is there any option available in Project Module - Fixed Price project to attach letter of credit as payment term.

1. Customer payment based on Letter of Credit 100% based payment mile stone

2. Customer payment is 20% advance through Cheque balance 80% through Letter of Credit

Hello Rahul,

thanks for your reply. We already configured thm standard and using in Sales Order ( Export LC) and Purchase order ( Import LC). But we didn't find any option in Project module to tag export letter of credit if customer agreed to mile stone payment through Letter of credit.

Hi Sunil,

To my knowledge the LoC functionality is currently limited to SO and POs and are not available for projects.

You have to create something yourself here; probably with the help of the PowerPlatform?!

Is there any specific reason to limit it within SO & PO.

How can we manage LoC in Projects if customer insists the payment through LoC through Bank.Any best practice options available or any workaround ?

Or only customization is to achieve LoC requirements in Projects

Hi Sunil,

There is not any feature that allow to define letter of credit against projects and the function is working like that sinde first release in AX 2012: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/key-tasks-letter-of-credit-for-the-export-of-goods
