Not able to set personalization in web client BC 14

When I click Personalization icon from the Sales Processor Role Center in Web Client, I get this error: Personalization could not be enabled due to technical issues. Try again later or contact your system administrator.

I'm using

Version: Platform 14.0.29530.0 + Application 29537

Not something I've seen before although we do continuously see feedback that the personalisation tool is buggy.

Have you tried using the sandbox environment and seeing whether the same thing happens?

Hi

you need to generate symbol reference to completely enable personalization using following command from CMD.

finsql.exe Command=generatesymbolreference, Database="Database Name" ServerName=Server\instance

This process will be started in background so please monitor activity of finsql in Task Manager until the process ends.
