Hello,

Whenever I log in to CRM, I am taken straight to Settings>Administration or Settings>Business Management. I want to go straight to Sales>Accounts, or Dashboards, or just anything other than Settings! Previously this has worked, but (perhaps since installing the Outlook client - which have since uninstalled?!) it doesn't work.

I've tried changing the Default Pane in Settings (Cog Wheel)>Options, but this has no effect. I tried logging in and out, rebooting, clearing the cache, uninstal/reinstall browser, Chrome, IE etc. Nothing works.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks
Ben

This usually happens when your user is set to be an administrator only account without a valid license. Check your user type and license in the admin portal.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Scott,

Thanks very much for your reply. As far as I can tell, my user role is 'Global Administrator' and the assigned license is 'Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Professional'. Is this correct in relation to what you mention above? What do I need to change to fix it?

    Thanks very much,

    Ben

When you have a pending system update for CRM administrators are sent to the Settings screen regardless of default pane settings. Is this the case for your environment?

One more thing I could think of is if you access CRM through a bookmark and the bookmark URL has included the hash-symbol (#) followed by a number at the end of the url.
