Different description for different Released product variant

Hi,

I want to upload different description for different Released product variant.

Like Product A having three release product variant and by default, AX fetches product description in all the three variant.

Is there any way i can upload different variant description for same Released product?

    EcoResProductTranslation holds the description per variant (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh545538.aspx), since each variant is a released product too.

    Thank you for your response.

    Yes I know where the description is stored but my requirement is how can I update this.

    I am using code -

    EcoResProductVariantManager::createProductVariant

    for creation of Variants and this method has the logic -

    insert_recordset ecoResProductTranslation_Variant

            (Product, LanguageId, Description, Name)

        select ecoResDistinctProductVariantRecId, LanguageId, Description, Name

            from ecoResProductTranslation

            where ecoResProductTranslation.Product == ecoResProductMaster.RecId;

    where Description is of Product so how can i get variants description to flow there in Translation table instead of Product description.

    For sending Customer statement from GP using Print Receivable statements window on Blank Paper Form. GP is throwing error "Adobe PDF Writer is not available for printing".

    I am using the word template RM Statement on Blank Paper. So when using word template also GP is looking for PDF writer to send emails to customers directly.

    I am on GP 2016 R2.

    Any other way to send email statements without having PDF writer?
