What is ReportItems!HeaderInfo.Value?

Posted on by 948

Hi everyone

A report #10411, I found its header has four text boxes.

And the function for each box is

=Cstr(Choose(1,Split(Cstr(ReportItems!HeaderInfo.Value), Chr(177))))

=Cstr(Choose(2,Split(Cstr(ReportItems!HeaderInfo.Value), Chr(177))))

=Cstr(Choose(3,Split(Cstr(ReportItems!HeaderInfo.Value), Chr(177))))

=Cstr(Choose(4,Split(Cstr(ReportItems!HeaderInfo.Value), Chr(177))))

How do I know what the ReportItems!HeaderInfo.Value is?

Best Regards,

JustZM

HeaderInfo is a textbox with name "HeaderInfo".

If you are using  Visual Studio, you can see the Document Schema (Ctrl + Alt + T) with View > Other windows > Document Schema. It will appear a window with a tree view of the full report , from you here you can locate which texbox it is.

If you are using report builder , you can export the report object to text file, then search this textbox where name is "HeaderInfo"
