I know I've done thisbefore but I forgot the statement. If I have the guid of a CRM user how to look it up in the database in order to get the 'friendly' name of the user?

Something like:
SELECT fullname FROM systemuser WHERE systemuserid = 'guid here'
You can also look in SystemUserBase table by executing below query against Org_MSCRM
select FullName, * from SystemUserBase where SystemUserId = 'Guid'
If it is possible it's better to use the filtered views
SELECT fullname FROM FilteredSystemUser WHERE systemuserid = 'GUID VALUE'
Thanks all! It's a very useful query. Comes in handy more often than u think.
