How to know if an added field is editable or not

Hi,

Many fields are able to be added to a page by Customize Pages on Profile(Role).
But there are fields not editable by default. For example Description 2 field in Project (or Job) is not editable by default.
I would like to know if there is a way to find out which field is editable or non-editable by default.

Does anyone have the infomation about it? Please let me know.

This isn't about Design tool in Sandbox.

How to know if an added field is editable or not

Hi, one possible way to determine if a specific field is editable or non-editable by default. You can Check if the "Lock editing" option is available. If the option is not available, the field is non-editable by default.

Hi, unfortunately, as far as I know there is no way, we will only know after adding it. . . .

It can be confirmed from the VS code, but some changes depending on conditions.
