Field Service - Work Order Sharing/Unsharing

Hi,

Our System Job log is filled up with all this "Field Service - Work Order Sharing/Unsharing" with Status Reason Failed.

Anyone that know how to turn off this feature of or how to make it function correctly?

    Hi Kjetil,

    You can deactivate the process in the Processes Section

    Although this is the workflow that runs when ever a Resource is booked to a work order. It will try and Share everything related to that Work Order with the Resource booked for that job. So they can see it on the Field Service Tablet.

    We had something similar happen to us and we believe it was a Sharing issue. Can you check if you can share records with other users in the system? When this happened to us we found out that the sharing functionality completely stopped and we had to contact Microsoft Support to resolve the issue.

    Thanks!

    I'll contact Microsoft and make them verify if there is any Sharing issues.

    As for now I have deactivated the process as it has never completed successfully anyway.

    UPDATE:

    Deactivating the workflow did not work, as we were unable to book resources :-|

    After a discussion with Microsoft support we disabled the Plugin steps for this workflow using the Plugin Registration Tool.

    (Step) Field Service: Create (post-operation) for msdyn_fieldservicesystemjob

    (Step) Field Service: Create (pre-operation) for msdyn_fieldservicesystemjob

    For now this is a workaround that works.

    Plan B is to upgrade the Fields Service Solution to v6.2.342.

    We are now using version: 6.1.0.1462

    Yes, this workflow shares the details of the jobs to the resources so that they can see and fill in the details for that job.

    Field Service is still pretty new so i'm guessing there is a few bugs :P
