Default calendar does not show todays date!

We recently implemented unified interface and noticed that the default calendar does not show today as it was in the legacy Dynamics 365 (see attached). One has to scroll to select todays date. How can we show todays date in the Unified Interface and display only on calendar view. Thanks so much in advance for your support

    Yes this is design change in UCI, you can post your feedback on  https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas to get this feature in UCI as well
