Inactive Items in HQ not passed to Stores

Hello,

We are running RMS 2.0 with 2 stores and 1 HQ

I went into inventory wizard and made a bunch of items inactve, which should make them disappear from the stores. Unfortunately it did not pass down to the stores (the stores are still showing the items). How would I apply these inactive items to the stores? Does it do it automatically?
