Cant see the RTC after Installing BC14 in my local pc(Windows 11 pro)

Hi All,

I have installed BC14 CU14 in my local pc. But I cant able to see the RTC after installation.

Operating System: Windows 11 pro.

Does any one aware what might be the issue

    Maybe it is just your desktop shortcut that is missing.

    Have you checked in your programfiles folders?

    Hi Nitin,

    Thanks for the reply, I dont see rtc app after installation.

    Though I did the installation multiple times still cant see the rtc app.

    Hi Inge,

    I have checked in my programfiles folder as well there it is showing as a config file but not like an app. See below image

    Very strange. I assume you have made sure to mark that you want the client installed during your install attempts?

    You can try to copy the file from the client folder on the installation DVD.

    That should work for the RTC client. The client does not use any registry entries or any of that good stuff. So a copy deployment of the client should work.

    Kindly Select proper installation option while installing BC14.

    Hi, this looks like the RTC was not selected during installation, so run the installation package again and click Repair.

    Hi Inge,

    Thanks for the suggestion, I have copied the nav client files from dvd and placed in the program files folder then tried to run the client then got below error.

    Then followed the below link to solve the above issue.

       

    Copied the clientusersettings file to users folder then I am able to open the client.

    Please check if have corrected setup files with you. and try to install it again through repair or Add remove section from Setup.
