NAV for Newspaper Distribution Management

Hi All,

I am new here so I could use all the help I can get.

My inquiry is whether any of you is using/has set up/knows someone that is using Dynamics Nav for the newspaper distribution management process and if so, how that is working for you.

Will appreciate any feedback on this matter.

    HI ,

    NAV is a ERP product , and you can modify according to the requirement if this product suite to your business

    I think its possible because for this you can map the entire process

    EG : row materiel purchase for newspaper / purchase of row materiel

          stock keeping of them / Creating a various ITEM (Like your Newspaper Name/Category)

          distribution in to your locations

          tracking

    yes i think ifs possible , but make sure before implement you need to find some partner and ask them about your requirement.

    Hi Pikanza,

    I am a Dynamics NAV Implementation Consultant who has implemented Dynamics NAV for a number of Magazine and Newspaper distributors. As Mannesha has said NAV is a very flexible ERP solution that provides a good backbone (finance, inventory, distribution, warehousing etc…) for the additional requirements of this specific type of distribution: 

    The key to your project is to know what you need the system to do (scope and requirements) and pick a knowledgeable Partner who you can trust with experience of distribution.
