Dear Friends,

I am new to Dynamics 365 CRM. I was playing around the trial site and I found out that I am not getting the same UI as intended when I click on the settings->advanced settings from top.

I use Ubuntu as my personal pc. And I use Google chrome and Mozilla firefox. It works in Firefox but not in chrome.

I tried to clear cache and reboot but no use.

A little clip to demonstrate what I did

I have the same question (0)

Chromium Edge may help in the future, but since it's based on the Chrome engine, it may just be the case that the issues are present in two browsers, rather than one. :) In fact, I've seen the same issues in Chromium Edge until about a week ago

    Hello,

I can't reproduce this issue on a newly signed up trial orgs. Can you check if this is still reproducible?

If it still doesn't work out and you want this to be workaround-ed on Chrome, you may use this URL directly to access the advanced settings.

    https://myorg.crm.dynamics.com/main.aspx?settingsonly=true

Also, I would recommend upgrading Chrome on your Ubuntu to see if it resolved the issue.

My chrome is the latest version I have from my Ubuntu repository - Version 81.0.4044.92 (Official Build) (64-bit)

And when I click on the link provided by you a.k.a silverlake.crm8.dynamics.com/main.aspx , it gives me the below error

Thank you again for trying to help me out, all your help is really appreciated. But I feel I am going in circles without any end in sight.

Can you try using private browsing Incognito mode?

    Hello,

Yeah, somehow the link contained my test org URL, please ignore that error as your user account is not part of Silverlake org. I will edit this hyperlink so that it won't point anyone to my test org later..  :-)

I wanted you to use this URL to see if this redirects you to the advanced settings.. Please replace your org name in this URL.

I'm getting exactly the same problem. Even if I type in that URL directly, it redirects to the same URL with "&forceUCI=1&pagetype=apps" on the end. This is what causes it to show the apps list.
