Hi,

Can someone help me with this

I create a production order in AX, i can see this Work order in All Production Orders, and it is released.

When operators clock in with job registration, some of the orders are there, operator can select and start job, but some of the job are not, and it cannot be find in the list.

Any idea please.

Thanks.

JC

After the production order has been released, check in the routes form if all the required operations are seen and their times.

    Hi there JC,

Does all your orders have jobs associated? If your operation has 0 processing time it will not be created...

Look at the production order to see if there are any jobs created. Look at the scheduling too see if jobs are planned.

If they are created... Look at the resource reserved. Is your terminal restricted to not show this?

Hi - As per Fredrik's comments, to be visible in the Job registration form the production orders have to be Job scheduled and not Operations scheduled - so check your production parameters so that automatic scheduling is set to Job scheduling, and use the status options to prevent your users having access to Operations scheduling.

Thank you all for your reply, all you have said is there, checked the route the job scheduling etc...

What is going on is it is been 2 weeks i am having this, on some orders, what i did not mentioned is that operator clocked in and started this Job and reported good quantity on it, he clocked out and went again to clock in, nothing the WO is not in the list.

Some of those WO did not show i was able to reset the job as they did not report in it yet, and it worked the job showed again in job registration. but the ones that they reported quantity on i cannot reset.

    have anyone seen this before?

    thanks.

Ah... The user then must report the job as finished. Even though the job has not been completed by quantity, the job is marked as ended.

Then you must go to the "Change feedback" menu item located in Production Control > Periodic > Manufacturing Execution and change the feedback on the job to "Stopped" instead of "Completed".

Also nice to know: When a job is started it is sorted to be at the bottom of the job list in MES.

    Hi Fredrik

i figured out what they were doing on the floor, "they were hitting complete button" after reporting good quantity, which make the WO disappear from the job list, to reset the status again, Production Control -- under periodic -- <revert complete status>

your reply also was very helpful, as it helped with another Job Stopped

    Thanks.

    JC
