Hi all,

We recently implemented a new sales tax office through CCH and have seen a number of critical issues affecting all orders system wide.

It began on Saturday when attempting to send Estimates or Confirmations

Then today when attempting to generate a quote

This message popped up when trying to correct the postage amount or attempting to create an estimation.

And now, we are receiving error messages when trying to cancel a job

Or trying to invoice

Is  your compile and CIL generation successful ?

Hi Sukrut, thank you for your response.   We don't do CIL compilation in Production, we do it in Pre-production and then push that to Prod.   Does that raise any red flags for you?

That being said, we did not see any issues like this in Pre-prod

So you always promote model store. Did you delete s XppIL folder before running CIL in pre-prod environment? Somehow CCH objects are not getting initialized , that is why you see error everywhere . Also can  you click on red error message , so that entire message is displayed on screenshot and post a new screenshot.

    Hi Sukrut,

We always promote model store and delete the XppIL folder before running CIL in PP.  I am not able to replicate some of the messages above, but here is what I see

    When approving an estimate

    Sending-a-quotation.png

When trying to send a quotation (even when trying to simply put it to "sent" without sending an estimate via fax/email/print

The other error that the estimators are receiving looks like.  (A screenshot sent by someone else who has different permissions so I cannot expand and get the full message)

    Thank you for any insight

Sukrut, do you know if for CCH on prem, if firewall exception have to be made?  Have you ever heard of this returning a blank response for the tax callout?

    Thanks!
