ReportReport

Hi,

I was trying to do a report of sales where a particular Quantity Discount was used and saw that the field QuantityDiscountID was being filled out in the table TransactionEntry in HQ.  When i went to analyse the data i found that the field contained the ID held in the store for that quantity and not the HQ ID and the table QuantityDiscount did not provide mapping.

Does anyone know how i would map back to the HQ ID for that discount?

Thanks

Shane

when TransactionsEntry uploaded to HQ it gets ID from DiscountQuantity HQ table on transactionentry so no required to match store value to HQ value.

try to synchronize and upload data from stores from old date and check what will occur in HQ transaction.

    Hi Ramy,

We did that when we set up the quantity discounts and done it since and it remains wrong.  Two stores are the same and one is not.

    IE.

In two stores the local ID for the discount is 9 and it maps it to HQ ID of 11

In one store the local ID is 12 and maps to HQ ID of 11

In the HQ TransactionEntry table it uses the Store local ID  ( 9 or 12)

In all stores there are only 7 discount entries.  Is i knew of a table in HQ that mapped the store produced discount ID to the HQ produced discount ID then i would be able to translate and report.

Even if all the store held DiscountQuantity tables were identical i would still need to map them to HQ ID's to report on them. ( Need to identify all the sales where a particular discount scheme was used)

I suspect i am missing something a bit obvious.

    Thanks

    Shane

You need to synchronize your store with HQ Because the discount scheme should be used uniformly by all stores. if you are run worksheet Style 202: Update Inventory - Quantity Discounts. This worksheet will mirror the discount scheme in the Headquarters database to the specified stores. Headquarters Client verifies that the store database contains all the discount schemes defined in Headquarters.
