Hello all.
If I am using a Real Time Journey for a Event, email is sent when Event Reg is created, when Event starts and when Event ends. But what happens to the journey for example if the start and end time is changed during the time the journey is live, will the journey trigger the emails based on the new timeslots?
Or maybe a better question would be, what is the best way of handling cancelled events or events that gets a different start/end time in relation to the event being connected to a Real Time Journey?
Today I have a Power Automate that is triggered when an Event Reg. is created. And from the Event Reg. a few data fields are sent into the journey. But the event getting a different start/end time would create a hassle if emails are supposed to be sent during those times.
Hi partner,
Are you referring to changes in the start and end times of the real-time journey? I think modifying the start and end time after the journey is live, the journey will trigger the email based on the new time period. Because when I changed the time, I got the following prompt.

Hi, thanks for the answer, interesting to know that too.
But I was thinking about the start and end time for the Event.
Because the time for start and end has already been sent to the Real Time Journey, at the moment the Event Reg. was created right?
So if the Event start or end time does change afterwards, the emails will be sent out in relation to the wrong/previous time slots.
So I was wondering how to best handle this situation?
