EDI Sales orders

Hi All

I'm having trouble updating my EDI orders.

Example:

ORDER1       12.05.2023        10

ORDER2       17.05.2023        20

ORDER3       19.05.2023        10

Sale sent 5 pieces dated 12.05.2023

ORDER1       12.05.2023        10             5 sent

ORDER2       17.05.2023        20

ORDER3       19.05.2023        10

Next the customer sends an update of orders via the EDI system:

ORDER1       12.05.2023        5

ORDER2       17.05.2023        20

ORDER3       19.05.2023        10

This is what sales see in sales orders:

ORDER1       12.05.2023        5              5 sent

ORDER2       17.05.2023        20

ORDER3       19.05.2023        10

The system reads about like this: on May 12 I need 5 pieces but 5 has already been sent so for shipment on May 12 I have 0.

How to fix it? Where is the hole? :(

    RE: EDI Sales orders

Hi Manhattan05 - EDI is not a standard NAV functionality, I am pretty sure this is a customization built/brought from a Partner. The fastest way to get an answer is by contacting the partner who owns/implemented this EDI solution for you. The wider community may not be able to help you with non-standard NAV functionality
