Hi, I'm passing an enum as a parameter to my SSRS report. But my report is only showing the enum name not the label. I get the same result regardless of whether I use the 'name' property or the 'label' property of the parameter.
Thanks in advance
i should be able to reference the label
Hi Brianmaric,
When you add a new field to dataset table, it will display two fields. one is Name, another is Label.
More details, please refer this :https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/axsupport/2012/08/06/dynamics-ax-2012-ssrs-reports-enums-not-translated-into-user-language/
Yes, I know. But that's if I add the paramenter enum to the table. It really isn't part of the table. It's just a parameter.
Still, I guess this is the only way to do it.
Thanks
Yes, You should use Label.
Did it succeed?
The only problem is that I have to insert a record for the parameter when there is no record which shows default 0's when there should be nothing at all.....guess I could create a parameter table. But i think you pointed me in the right direction
