Attach scheduled Excel report in email

Hi - i would like to schedule an aged report or any other report as an excel attachment to an email. Email person may or may not be an end user of business central. Currently having difficult performing this. I'm only able to send pdf's.

Report

Modification or an appsource app is the best approach here.

Mod wise you would need to either create a specific function for dealing with it or intercept an event which handles the format. Report selection table uses SaveReportAsPDF which has an event OnBeforeSaveReportAsPDF. There is a parameter in the main function for filepath which contains the text pdf which you could change to xlxs.
