Saved View with filter on

Posted on by 10

Hi everyone,

I've been using 'Views' for a while now. I have applied a filter (for example: Item Number is not 1234) and saved this as a view.

When refreshing the page and selecting the view again, the filter is not applied anymore. I am wondering if this is just not possible, or if I am doing something wrong?

Thanks!

    Hi Steve Zhao,

Yes, I do have the same * symbol when adding a filter. I saved the view and refreshed the page but column settings are removed. I will contact our development team regarding this issue. Thank you very much for your help though.

    Hello Sara,

The changes which you are making this view is a system view or personal view ?

If it is system view then you can not make changes like this way. because it is available to all the users.

And if it is personal view then try to do same thing from the advance find. and save the view after it.

    Thank you,

    Amit katariya

    Hi Sara Wehmann,

Based on the screenshots you provide, we are using the different app. I'm using Sales Hub in which when I applied my filter, the view would be added * symbol like this:

This means this filter is temporary and you need to save the view then it could be applied when you refresh the view. I'm not sure that if this is designed by this in your app. However, you could try to save the view with that filter and refresh your view. If it couldn't work, you would better post your issue at your app's forum.

    Hello Steve,

thank you very much for your reply. I have applied the filter as can be seen in the screenshot below.

    Screenshot-Filter.PNG_2D00_640x480.png

    The filter is:

    1) applied on the 'filter' button on the left side of the screen

    2) therefore also applied in the 'Item number' column.

I have saved this view as 'Picking List Test 1'. When leaving the screen, going back to it and selecting the view, the filter on the Item Number column is not applied anymore.

It seems like the Saved View only saves the order of the columns and not the filters applied to it.

    Hi Sara Wehmann,

Could you share the screenshots of how you applied a filter? Did you click this button to filter view?
