Business Portal 6.0 Access Denied after changing the AppPool user to the one who has all access in Dynamics Security Console

I am having this exception when I try to access > Business Portal -> Human Resources -> Employee List. I just installed BP6.0 after setting up GP 2013 with 6 companies successfully and Sharepoint Foundation 2010. I should mention here that I have access to all the pages of Business Portal here but the only thing I am not authorized is for viewing Lists (or when BP tries getting some data from Dynamics GP Web Service)

After looking at the answers of a lot of similar questions asked online, I tried changing the AppPool user to the one assigned Super User and WMS Roles in Dynamics Security Console.

After changing the AppPool user, I was able to access the Sharepoint Homepage.

But when I tried accessing the Business Portal link, it said Access Denied.

This is very frustrating. Implementing Business Portal is becoming one of the most frustrating tasks I have done in my life so far. I need help in this. Thank you.

Try to Log on to Business Portal as an administrator and follow steps from the below link.

    Dear Soma,

I am an administrator for not just Sharepoint - 80 website but also for business portal. I already have assigned myself all these Roles. The Business Portal works fine when I assign NetworkService to the AppPool but then I get all these exceptions accessing the list.

I am clear now. Please go through the BP admin(page no: 112) guide to verify the application pool user settings.

    Hope this helps!!!

Both the user account used to install Business Portal and the application pool owner for the IIS site that BP is installed onto should be assigned to the SuperUser and BDC Administrator roles accordingly.

Another thing to look at, if the issues are within the Human Resources/Payroll pages, look at what account is running the Dynamics GP Queued Work Item service, via Services.msc as that account should be a user for Business Portal, but not assigned any additional roles besides the default 'User' role.

After making any changes to the Web Services permissions in the Dynamics Security Console, stop and restart the Dynamics GP Service Host Service, then launch Business Portal again.

    Thanks
