I want to keep 2 weeks worth of records in a custom entity. The entity has a field CreatedOn.
Can I do this by scheduling a nightly job with Bulk Record Deletion?

you can schedule a bulk delete job to run every x days
this blog shows you how to do it in CRM 2011 and the process should be exactly the same in CRM 2013

I can see how to setup recurring jobs. What I'm not sure of is how to remove records that are older than 2 weeks keeping the rest there - I can't see how to do this with the built-in date criteria.
you can practise by creating an advanced find but you need to do something like
you could choose createdon date older than X months and this could be older than 1 month.
2 weeks is tricker because I think you would need to set a date or a flag. You could perhaps create a workflow which can dynamically add time to a day to flag the records you wanted to delete or set a date field
Thanks Ben, I've created a new field 'deleteon' which I'll set to today+14 day on creation of the record.
Last question.. How do I pick up these records in the Search Criteria in Bulk Record Deletion. I'm looking for the option 'Older than today'?
