Open contacts on External application

Hi,

Is it possible to show Contact or Lead forms as an Iframe on the external application? Following is my requirement.

When a call comes to our IVR we need to show the calling customer's contact form or Lead for inside IVR application as an Iframe.

We know how to build the record URL using the Guid, but How can we handle the authentication, what is the best and safe approach for the requirement.

Kindly Advice.

Many Thanks

Nijo

    Hi

You can actually use Unified Service Desk specially designed for this kind of scenarios.

    check this: technet.microsoft.com/.../dn646899.aspx

    Hi,

    Thank you for teh reply,

So we cannot open CRM pages on an external application's IFrame, not even teh login page.

The only available option is to pass the required information to IVR using a Webservice and display on a custom HTML page.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Nijo

    Hi,

I don't think you can open Dynamics screens in an iframe - you'll get an error message ("This content cannot be displayed in a frame"). It won't even ask you for the user credentials.

it is hard to make without user and password, i think you can set internet explorer security settings, and

ask to user only one time for password , and other clicks its not necessar password.
