In SL 2011 FP1 we got error when deleting Void Check Entry (03.040.00)

You are running into bug 7775. The workaround is this.
1. Bring up the Void Check batch which has a status of Hold or Balanced and needs to be deleted
2. Change the Handling from No Action to Hold
3. Save the batch
4. Without leaving the screen, delete the batch.
