Hello,

I'm confused and can't find any useful documentation on how to prepare MCRM before to migrate datas.

It's sure, I have to create the users, choose the fields I need in Entity forms, creating custom fields.

But what about the basic (best practices) advises.

i.e.

1. Should the organization structure be already defined and all Business Units Security roles done?
2. If i migrate in bulk, without having exactly defined the roles and BU, will I encounter issues ? (like problems to migrate the ownership of an Account/Contact, ownerid has privileges and a lot of those entitites are atrtibuted to the CRM administrator so will not be fun to maually assignate thousands of companies... contacts... )

If you have links to provide me, it's with pleasure I will read the articles.

You might want to checkout the product starfish ETL which has a native data migration to for GM to MCRM. www.starfishetl.com
