Not able to delete ADX solution - ADXStudio Portals Dependencies

Hi,
I have installed ADX solutions (Customer Portal) using ADXstudio installer for my 2016 CRM organization.
Now I am not planning to use this solutions. So I want to remove them.
I have successfully removed almost every ADXstudio solution. But solution 'ADXStudio Portals Dependencies', is not getting deleted.
It is showing error as 'The {0}({1}) component cannot be deleted because it is referenced by {2} other components. For a list of referenced components, use the RetrieveDependenciesForDeleteRequest.'

    Hi Vivek,

I have never used ADX solution, but ever I encountered the similar problems which was caused by Plug-in. You can check if there are any plug-in registered inside of the solution, and unregistered it as a try.

    Hi Edison,

There are no Plugins in the solution.

I have tried this. I started deleting solutions in reverse order. All my solutions are being deleted, but only this last solution (ADXstudio portal dependencies) is not getting deleted.

There are no known issues with the solution that would make it difficult to uninstall.  Use the solution to detect any dependencies on itself.  You must have some component in CRM that is referencing something in the solution.  We designed it so that it has no dependencies itself, but we cannot control what customers do to their CRM with it installed.  Perhaps check things like your sitemap and ribbon and make sure it is not referenced at all.

Check if there is any reference in sitemap table.

The SiteMapXML  attribute  value on SiteMapBase table, it  is stored in the CRM database, in the “SiteMapBase” .

You can write simple console to retrieve the value  and then check  for reference of managed solution exist in this managed solution.

Do not make direct change to this table  table without taking backup.

    Hello,

I am experiencing the same issue.  I am using Dynamics 365 Online and installed the Portal Add-on through Office 365.  We no longer want to use the portal.  Several portal-related solutions (customer portal, community portal, etc.) were installed, and I've been able to remove them all except "MicrosoftCRMPortalDependencies".  Here are the Dependency Details...

Looks like the web page entity is referencing itself??

    Hey Glen,

I am inclined to believe you have not deleted all portal related solutions using the FILO (first in last out) method; specifically a solution titled "Feedback". Delete "feedback" and you should relieve the dependencies noted in your screenshot.

There’s no need to remove the dependencies one by one and you should not be removing any Microsoft CRM Portal entities too.  Please follow the step by step instructions mentioned on the link below.

    https://community.dynamics.com/enterprise/b/dynamics365portalssupport/archive/2017/02/27/portal-troubleshooting-part-three-uninstalling-portal-solutions

I know the above article is for CRM portals but holds true for ADX portal solutions too.

The main point is to determine the order in which they were installed.  Then we can uninstall in reverse order.

Referring to the highlighted text below, you can use the base URL to retrieve the sequence of the solution.

Just replace ‘v8’ with v7 in your case.
