Hi,

I have some queries regarding default description.
I am creating customer payment journal. I have setup default description 'Customer - payment, customer'. After posting, It is showing default description on customer ledger but not on the offset bank ledger.
Is there any way, even if user type anything in customer payment journal line description, the system only consider the default description and ignore the description in line.

Where default description 'Customer - cash payment' is applicable?

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not OOB functionality.

This setup is only used if you use the payment proposal.
