Financial dimensions based on procurement category in purchase requisition

Dear all,

Is there any why to configure financial dimensions base on procurement category, whenever user select procurement category in purchase requisition lines corresponding financial dimensions also populate accordingly.

There is no allowance for setting financial dimension on procurement categories. If you're categories are mapped 1-1 to main accounts, you could set default dimensions on the main accounts using Legal entity override.

I did this configuration you suggested, I mapped the one to one category with main accounts in posting profile and set the default dimensions on main account but when I saved the requisition, system give the dimension error message that is require on it until and unless I manually select. In account structure main account is configured with must have dimension.

Did you set the default dimensions to Fixed or Not fixed?
