There is a drop-down named email status which has 4 options
There is a requirement where i need to restrict users from exporting data if the Email Status field is set to "cannot contact"?
How do i achieve this?

Hello Sumaira,
To hide buttons you could use a third party application named Ribbon Workbench: www.develop1.net/.../ribbonworkbench.aspx
Please notice that there are some buttons that cannot be modified.
