You have to run SQL Server installer, not Dynamics AX installer.

    Hi Martin,

yes i am run the SQL Server Installation Center ->Installation Tab

in this what i choose for my requirement

either New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation

    or

New SQL Server failover cluster installation

i am just bit of confuse.

    Please guide me.

    If i select

New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation

It is asking the path in My computer how to attach this path?

It depends on what you're doing, which you unfortunately forgot to mention.

I can assume that you're not trying to install to a cluster, therefore choose "New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation".

Note that SQL Server is an enormous product. If you got stuck here, maybe you should leave the installation to your system administrator.

Otherwise you can learn a lot in SQL Server documentation; it's excellent.

If you need to discuss questions about SQL Server that aren't related to Dynamics AX, please do it in a SQL Server forum.

In my system already reporting services extensions are installed and reports are working in AX 2012 r3.

Recently i am install the new AOS in this New AOS reports are not working.

It is showing the error like this.

"The default Report Server Configuration ID could not be found in the SRSServers table."

In System administration->Business Intelligence->Report server nothing is setup.

Before setup the report server i need to install the new reporting server instance.

Do you have installation media ? When you are clicking on "new installation" it is asking you to provide a path to installation files .
