Can someone help in letting me know which account types you can apply Sales tax to? My client is trying to create a journal where the Account Type is 'Customer' and apply a item sales tax of 0%. We can apply it to Account type Project but not Customer.
The customer, vendor, fixed asset, and bank account types are using balance sheet accounts. For these accounts, there is no VAT used.
The account types Ledger account and project should be in a voucher to be able to use VAT.
