Has anyone else noticed when you change the Week Ending field and then change the Status field or click the Time Approver/Manager/GL Subaccount/Entire Company radio buttons, the Week Ending field reverts to its previous value?

    Hi Anthony,

You need to tab off of the date field before switching the options.

Thanks for the reply, Carolyn.  Is that a bug or a feature?  Normally in Windows GUI design when a control loses focus it retains its value, regardless if it lost focus from a tab key or a mouse click.

    Hi Anthony,

This is an unusual field.  The system tries to validate the date you choose in this field to make sure it is a valid week ending date.  If you don't enter a valid week ending date, it corrects what you have entered by trying to match it up to the nearest week ending date in Week Maintenance that would include the date that you initiallly entered.  Tabbing off that field seems to trigger that check for a valid week ending date.  I would say this is by design but can't say for sure.

How do we find out for sure?  This isn't a big enough issue for us to burn a support incident on.  I guess I could post on Microsoft Connect.

    Hi Anthony,

I'll go ahead and enter a bug on this but I'm not sure when it will get reviewed.  That doesn't answer your question but thought I would record a bug.  You can enter on Microsoft Connect and see what happens.

OK, thanks.  I did enter it on Microsoft Connect as well.
