FRX is missing newly added accounts

Posted on by 75,730

We added a series of accounts. We have a segment structure or XXXX-XX-XX-XXX.

None of the accounts we added are appearing in the FRx reports.

Example. Row is defined as 4000, we have 001 through 060 in the fourth segment.

We added 4000-12-03-054. When we run  the report all the other 4000-12-03-XXX appear with the exception of 054. I create a dummy report and used just a row definition of 1000 to 9999. It does not appear there. However, if I explicitedly add a row that is 4000-12-03-054 it will appear.

I have deleted the *.g32 file as well as turned on Show Zero Dollar rows.

Any hints as to how to get these new accounts to appear on the reports?

KB843824 solution 3 solved my problem.  My frl_acct_code table was corrupted/ incomplete.  I beleive this is where FRX draws down the account information from GP into FRX.

In our case it is set to Auto Rebuild and when  you log into FRx you can see it rebuilding the index. So even after deleting all the g32 files the accounts did not appear unless we explicity entered the account numbers on each row.

    Check within Frx  Admin>>System Preferences

Is it set to Automatic GL Index Rebuild

or is it set to REbuild Local GL Index Option to FRx Administrator Only (should be All USERS).

    See if that helps.

We dumped FRx and went with BI 360. We never did find a resolution so we added each account explicitly on each row. After that we switched to BI 360.

I am running into a similar problem except mine are established accounts.  What was the solution?
